  Thanks guys.. I was raised Pentecostal (tongues, interpretation, drunk in the spirit, slain in the spirit - that camp). Then I rebelled. Then I got saved and ended up in hypercharismania/word of faith/dominionism and loving Bethel.  Then my eyes were very shockingly and abruptly opened and now I hardly know how to trust anyone or even reality sometimes. I find it grounding to listen to conversations like this one. Thank you.

  Watched this twice now a year apart. Such a blessing and amazing explanation. I don’t have the gift to explain this so eloquently so I love hearing these two gifted men discuss this amazing topic. Such an encouragement to me!!

  I used to be a strict cessationalist until God gently showed me that cautious continualists are much closer to walking in faith and in Holy Spirit.

  Folks if your desiring the Holy Spirit open up your bibles daily and long for the word, the more you understand God's truths the more the Holy Spirit changes you in sanctification or being more like christ according to Paul.  You don't need mysticism or special revelation of sorts because the cannon is closed. True believers are already anointed with the Holy Spirit at justification. You have everything you need in Scripture.  Crave it and watch the Holy Spirit move through your life.

  Amen, I knew different pentecostal churches which are not crazy, very cautious and filled with the Holy Spirit! We are one in the Spirit checking the foundation in Christ in His word through the Spirit, testing spirits....a very interesting interview. God bless you🙏

  The BEST EXEGETE eva.. <br><br>I spend my first 10 yrs in this mess, the Charismatic, Health, wealth, movement-Hinn, Copeland, Sevell, Hagin, Tilton, Happy Hunters... I believed what they said the Bible said.. <br><br>It took God to set me in a do it or die situation to pull me out (early mid 80s). That Mom brought her sons clothes for him to put on. He didn&apos;t get off that cott.. nor did any child in the hospital become free of cancer.. <br><br>God can do as He wills. I can&apos;t command him.

  This series has been instrumental in my understanding of the Holy Spirit! With every episode that I have watched I now have a better understanding of who He is, what He does, and how His gifts are active in me! Thank you Johhny and Costi for making this series! Cannot wait for what comes next!

  I have ‘heard’the Lord so loudly it’s been almost audible twice in my lifetime.. once was something small- I had been looking for my favorite sweater for almost a month and could not find it but I needed it one day and sat on my bed and prayed and I heard go look on you hope chest ( I called myself looking several times there before) but I went and moved everything and found it immediately. So when my marriage is falling apart and I was crying out to the Lord and He answered me by saying,” I’m going to save your marriage “.. I knew beyond a shadow of doubt it was Him and it was a process but He has indeed saved my marriage. SO you can’t tell me God doesn’t speak.. His Word literally says “ my sheep hear my voice!”
