  I subscribed to this channel. I really enjoy how you incorporate the WORD of God. I battle with self control with Lust and porn and the internal struggle can be daunting but you left me with that verse Philippians 1:6 and I will keep working towards pleasing God

  That’s a terrible and worldly definition brother…. That definition is fallen and a sinful perversion of self-control. Love the rest of the video and this ministry! <br><br>Self- Control is a communicable attribute of God and therefore should be defined as the ability to control oneself rightly and maintain our heart, mind, and actions in righteousness…. <br><br>Of course this impossible for us…. We can’t live up to the standard of God. But by grace!!! God works in us through His Holy Spirit His own self-control….. it’s a fruit of the Spirit. <br><br>All praise and honor and glory to Jesus Christ our Lord Who Authors our self-control in grace. He will present His bride Holy and Blameless on the last day.

  Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness:<br>Why do people listen to preachers and the traditions of man before turning and seeking God first? We are to seek God the Father FIRST and everything else will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). The carnal mind cannot receive the things of God whatsoever (1 Corinthians 2:14), and when you turn to man before God, it is impossible to discern the truth from the lies (2 Tim 4:3). Most say ‘Jesus is God’ or that there are ‘three gods in one’ and so on. Yet, in Hebrews 8:8-10, God said he will put his laws in our mind and hearts: “And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.” Still, people continue to seek wisdom from men first instead of God, and will lose their very soul for doing so. We are to put God first in <b>everything</b> we do; and, in return, He will do the same (John 8:54).
