  Wow! Blown away once again by all the incredible feedback. Doing my best to respond to comments; please accept my apologies in advance if I miss any. A few general notes:<br><br>a.) Many of you have asked about my wife. She&apos;s opted to remain off-camera, but she&apos;s a moderator here (@chrissiij), so you&apos;ll see her in the comments.<br><br>b.) Annabelle is a Ragdoll. She&apos;s had a very rough life -- I don&apos;t want to go into detail on it here because frankly it makes my blood boil -- so suffice it to say that Christine and I are very happy that we can give her a loving home for the first time in her life.<br><br>c.) A few comments have come in about the audio mix: specifically, that the music cues are a bit too loud compared to my voice. I&apos;ve tested the mix on TV, phone, and PC, and it sounds fine to me across multiple devices. However, I&apos;m happy to adjust the mix more in favor of vocals and lower the BGM level in future episodes. If the mix sounds off to you, please let me know in the comments what type of device you&apos;re watching on (TV, phone, tablet, or computer), as this will help me with troubleshooting. My audience also tends to skew a bit older (which I think is great), and hearing changes with age, so I may need to adjust some bass/treble levels accordingly.<br><br>d.) A lot of questions are about HOW I was able to legally immigrate to the UK. I&apos;m the first to admit it&apos;s not easy (and it&apos;s bloody expensive). In my case I did it through a Skilled Worker visa provided by a British employer. There are other routes, so I&apos;d recommend checking out the UK gov website for the latest official guidance, as it appears the rules may be changing soon (Keir Starmer&apos;s proposed whitepaper).<br><br>e.) A couple of people have commented that it actually is possible to get gazumped (or gazundered) in Scotland, although it&apos;s extremely rare. I did some checking on this and it appears to be true, so mentioning it here in case anyone&apos;s seriously looking at real estate in Scotland right now.<br><br>Thank you guys for the love and support!   I moved to Scotland from England &nbsp;this year. I love England but I&apos;m almost eighty years old and I wanted to end my days somewhere peaceful where driving isn&apos;t an ordeal. I live a very simple life on a &nbsp;modest pension &nbsp;and &nbsp; dry content.

  Really great insights. As a Scotsman who lived in the US for a lot of my career but eventually left to move to the Scottish highlands, I can resonate with having to fight accusations of hating the US 🤣 Quite the contrary, I loved it in America for the most part, and Americans as people are brilliant. But when the soul has a certain calling, you sometimes have to follow that.

  My daughter just came home to Aus. We found why Scotland is in our hearts with myself over 70 percent Scottish heritage. The rest Irish. ❤❤

  Welcome Jason to our beautiful country. I live down on the Isle Of Bute and there’s not a day goes by I don’t appreciate what I see when I look out of my window. I’m glad that you’re loving life and embracing our Scottish ways. The U.K. is so small but so different, it’s a great little island to explore.
