I actually think Carly kissing Freddy to “mark her territory” is a perfect addition because it’s showing almost how sporadic and unnatural her transition to liking Freddy was, highlighting how it really was a savior worship complex

One of the rare few times Sam is nice to Freddie

I was SO confused when I rewatched iCarly a few years ago because I remembered those cut scenes from the episode’s air date and I thought I just made them all up

Carly being into the idea of someone and not the actual person is also something that was explored in iDateABadBoy,

If you ever watch the revival there's a scene where Carly is confessing her love for Freddie and she references this whole episode and how Freddie was talking about the hero thing wearing off. She then proceeded to say that he is still her hero all those years later. It is such an emotional moment and feels so earned even if you just watched the revival itself

Crazy how they get together in the revival show. Their relationship is the personification of the phrase "If you love someone, set them free. If they come back, they’re yours; if they don’t, they never were."

I love how Sam was genuinely concerned for Freddie’s wellbeing (mostly, considering she got a taco from that same truck right after), like: “I like seeing him get hurt, but not that badly.”

I had no idea those scenes were extended cuts, I remember them so vividly. I swear I’ve only seen the episode with the extended scenes

6:08 Freddies family must have serious money for him to own a Mac pro, powermac g4, 3 imacs and a powerbook in the late 2000s

The kiss seemingly feels so weird knowing Dan made Jeanette and Nathan keep redoing their kiss
