Les Claypool is a national treasure. Without a doubt, the weirdest mo-fo in popular music. He has a vision of what he wants his music to sound like, whether with Primus, or in his solo projects...they are ALL weird...but strangely work. It's not about making hits for him, it's about making art.

I was a skateboarder in the 90s, and I was definitely jamming to Primus. Y'all should check out their songs, "Jerry Was A Race Car Driver" and "Tommy the Cat".

I saw them once in the cafeteria of a junior college in Concord, California before they became Primus. That night I saw the future. People were jumping off the tables, not knowing what they were listening to.
