It measures better than I expected, but not super linear. As the on and off axis measurements show, the speaker will have an uneven power response and directionality index. Still a decent result considering you used off-the-shelf parts only.

Novel and highly unusual approach. You don’t need an anechoic chamber but you do need a microphone eg.: just a Umik-1 and REW software is enough to get started (plenty of tutorials on YT). And do a time gated measurement to exclude reflections. I did all my work with REW / UMIK-1 and its pretty easy and REW is very sophisticated. I also got hold of a used CLIO Pocket - I don’t like the CLIO software but it’s much better for measuring spectral decay and gives clearer results on this than REW, I find. I agree with other comments to not use especially start with off the shelf crossovers. That’s like buying some tyres and then looking for a car to fit them on.

Wait what? Baffle step loss is a function of the enclosure design as well as the driver. And if those frequency plots are manufacturer’s data - it doresn’t help if you’re not measuring in the intended enclosure which is what really matters

Never ever use off the shelf crossover boards. They will never fit your design exactly, not even close. Not even mentioning this particular board is made of crappy parts.
