My name is Phil, and I build loudspeakers from a workshop in the heart of the red rock country in Kanab, Utah. Each cabinet is constructed with a meticulously mitered hardwood cabinet inlayed with beautiful and locally sourced Arizona sandstone. I work exclusively with solid, US.-sourced red oak, cherry and black walnut. Every cabinet is hand-sanded to a glass-smooth 2500-grit finish, resulting in an organic, tactile surface. The acoustic designs are based on a wide-overlap, physics-first architecture. By prioritizing near perfect physical alignment and utilizing shallow-slope crossover topologies, the woofer and tweeter are engineered to sing together across a broad frequency range. This wide-overlap approach ensures that the hand-off between drivers is perceptually seamless, maintaining the holographic imaging and weight of a single source. My goal is simple: to build amazing speakers that sound as good as they look.
