  One thing to note about Barry is that he isn&apos;t really trained at all. He started doing YouTube cooking basically to learn how to cook, his channel was originally called My Virgin Kitchen. I think he&apos;s still learning as he goes for a lot of it.<br><br>Fun fact, Barry was actually spotlighted by Jamie Oliver when he was first starting out

  I&apos;ve followed Barry Lewis for something like 8 or 9 years.. he&apos;s just a home cook who loves to experiment with different flavours and styles, techniques for cooking, and has his own thing going on, he&apos;s just a fun guy to watch cook

  Barry is one of the only cooking youtubers i watch alongside you and one or two others. He&apos;s just a home cook who experiments and isn&apos;t afraid to post even his fuck ups (as can be seen in this video lol). Love this guy.

  I have watched probably all egg fried rice videos, but this from Barry is one of my favorites because of almost scientific approach to experiments with tomato sauce variations.

  I&apos;ve watched Barry before. Actually, this video in fact. It does take him a a moment to get the point but, I appreciate him. You and Uncle Roger are correct... it wasn&apos;t a video about fried rice. It was about someone trying out MSG for the first time. It was extremely enjoyable. 😊

  Did you know that sprinkling a little salt on strawberries can actually make them taste sweeter? As an Asian, I usually eat most fruit with a pinch of salt because it just tastes better. At a potluck, someone brought strawberries and I jokingly complained that there was no salt. That’s when I realized - Americans usually don’t eat fruit with salt, and many of them didn’t even know you could! Lol.
