I've watched every movie on this list up to Event Horizon. In the theater in most instances and most of the following.

37:38 He’s not Dr Weir. That’s one of the engineers from the rescue ship. Dr Weir is the actor (Sam Neill) from Jurassic Park who was obsessed with raptors and also in Jurassic park 3.

I love these films, but I keep wanting to see the 2020 Russian film Superdeep on one of these lists. It's a favorite Lovecraftian film of mine.

The biggest nitpick I have about Sphere is that the movie went and changed the order of the characters got powers, and thus destroyed the power the lead character, Norman (Dustin Hoffman), had because of his profession. To give a basic explanation, in the book Norman only went into the Sphere after they worked out what was happening, because he needed the power to fight Beth (Sharon Stone), and he is able to keep control because he is a psychologist and understands the human mind. The movie has him going into the Sphere earlier and unknowingly contributing to the chaos, thus his whole control via psychological expertise is hamstrung.

Can you tell, I read the book before the movie?

 i don't understand lovecraft

it's never mentioned yet tons of stuff are directly inspiered (or is this some kind of copyright bs?), neither religious or otherwise mention.

aka it's absolutly loved yet no one talk about it, similar to Factorio and Satisfactory.

But the lore is large fanbase and i don't blame them after i hear about the whole wizard cursing a family and well, let me not spoil the ending

We can't handle a villian who is nor good or evil. We have to stamp it something. These movies fail while "Backrooms" succeeded. Why?
