  Every &nbsp;time I see Disney explain his work, I get why the old Disney movies feel like magic. The driving force behind it was &quot;let&apos;s make the best possible movies and get good money for it too&quot;, but the first part was always a prerequisite for the second. They let the animators learn on the job and figure out their own methods, that&apos;s how they got the best animators. They were actually passionate. <br><br>And another thing I like is how Disney does not just explain, he also introduces the models (fat guy dancing, ballerina) by name. Professional and respectful.

  I graduated from CalArts, the Disney school.. We were taught all the basics of drawing to show movement. With a pencil, not a computer. 😊

  Probably the best film/video I have seen. I&apos;m 67 now and have always been fascinated by anything Disney. &nbsp;Sunday nights, all the shorts etc. Absolute magic. These men and women were so dedicated to their art. Just amazing. Such talent compared to todays animation. You know, lets get the computer to do it. It&apos;s just not the same.

  When I was a kid in the 1970s my dad worked at a plywood mill and drew, painted in his spare time. &nbsp;His dream was to be a Disney artist. &nbsp;He never pursued his dream because, as he used to say, &quot;I like to eat&quot;. &nbsp;lol. Of course, this way of creating Disney&apos;s movies is long gone.

  Wow,ty for this.Im 61 so kinda came from that generation..Ive seen so many young people today say it wasn&apos;t a big deal,they just traced it.Yeah,but each frame had to be slightly different from the other.Saw for a 5 minute cartoon it took 250,000 cells to make it,all drawn by hand.Today,make 1 drawing,throw it in a computer, and it does the rest..Ty again for showing the hard work that went into these..From Disney to Bugs Bunny
