  52 year old chubby grandma here…I bought into the “fat and fabulous” nonsense thru my adult life. And I was a “small fat” weighing in between 250-290 most if my adult life. Long story short …I got a knee replacement last year and need the other one done. At some point we’ll be moving to hip replacement. I was one of those fat and active women. I did landscaping for years at that weight telling myself the number on the scale is no big deal because my blood work and stuff is great and I’m so active! <br><br>Don’t buy into this fat acceptance bullshit folks.

  I work in mortuary transportation (I pick up and transport the dead from hospitals, care facilities and residences) and I can say I&apos;ve never picked a decedent around the 400lb range that has seen retirement age. The oldest morbidly obese person I picked up at mid 50&apos;s and they had gained that weight later on in life. I have picked up a 500lb man two years younger than me (I&apos;m 34), and a 600lb woman three years older than me. These folks that I pick up out of residences live in squaler because their limited mobility means they can&apos;t take care of themselves. Health at every size is not a thing.

  This makes me sad, but also angry that fat activists will 100% not mention this tragedy at all, or if they do, they will attribute her passing to anything other than her morbid obesity.

  Fat acceptance was meant to just be a movement to stop demonizing and shaming people for being fat. &nbsp;It was never meant to say being morbidly obese is healthy and “normal”. The movement was co opted by people seeking to not take responsibility for their addictions. &nbsp;We need to just be loving and supportive of all people. &nbsp;My heart breaks for addicts of all kinds. It doesn’t just hurt the person addicted but everyone who loves them. 💔

  Brittany was right about one thing. Until you are dead you aren&apos;t 100% out of the game. You bet your sweet bippies she fought every step of the way with an attitude like that. I think more than anything she should be remembered as a fighter until the end.

  I&apos;m very concerned for her younger sister. From a 5 min scroll through her insta I found she is 23, morbidly obese &amp; seems to be groomed by a man that looks to be in his 50&apos;s to 60&apos;s since she was 20. I really hope her sister&apos;s passing will be some kind of wake up call. This is all just heartbreaking

  As someone who suffers from B.E.D. I completely agree with you. I feel like F.A. is leading people away from B.E.D. trying to almost alienate people who really struggle. I&apos;ve been able to get it under control and lose a bunch of weight and get my health in control, but the fact that people are making it seem like this disorder is basically fat phobia is mind blowing. I feel so sorry for all the lives we are losing in this world that could really be avoided. It&apos;s so sad.

  My sister died at 54 from a form of cancer due to her obesity or addiction to fast food. Cancer was found at stage 4. She was told she had 6 months, she lasted 8. I can remember asking her what I could do for her, she wanted me to go get her fast food. I would point out she needs to eat better, to which she said, other food doesn&apos;t taste good to her 😢. She went from that to saying she needs to get the weight off her. Something my dad told her for years. He would say. If you don&apos;t lose weight you&apos;re going to die 😢. In a bout a week I saw probably 100 pounds fall off her. For the first time I could see her little waist. <br>She was probably 400 pounds at least. She was 5&apos;3&quot;, long rust red hair and blue eyes. She was beautiful. I&apos;ve tried to share this story with creators promoting to look how you want. They just delete my comment.
