  Honestly <br>The Separatists have to have the worst luck in the Star Wars universe. They fought for a legitimate cause and got 🔩 over by the powers that be.

  There were remnants of the separatists holdouts that did join the rebel alliance and the rebels couldn&apos;t exactly be picky about what kind of allies they needed in their war against the empire

  I feel like the biggest stickler was ironically that the revels were a movement focused on turning the clock back to when the empire was the republic while the seperatists wanted to be seperate from both.

  There was another thing about Organa&apos;s rebellion. It was first meant exculively for the people that share his anti-imperial vision. Senators that would join the imperial militarists were among those he would alienate. Both for security reasons and ideological. That&apos;s what happened to Bonteri. Same happened to many more senators that simply wanted to build a life for their people in the Empire and outright using Organa&apos;s resources, meant for rebellion, to facilitate the peaceful existence of their worlds within the First Galactic Empire. Seamingly to most, the best nation ever built in the Galaxy, they all wanted to be part of, instead of its enemy. The reclaimation of the Outer Rim proved the Galaxy that IAF is simply undefeatable, and there is nothing left to die for trying to fight against the only rule that guarantees the peace for the people of the Galaxy after years of horrific bloodshed. Emperor&apos;s rule.<br><br>And Lux&apos;s own oath to keep his king&apos;s domain safe for generations to come was stronger than his loyalty to late Padme&apos;s caucus. He will pay dearly for crossing them. But he will succeed. And Organa will lose him to the Empire. Several years later Onderon would be ready for Bonteri&apos;s leave, with its Royal House having passed all the necessary legislations required to make imperial dictatorship bearable for them enough for their people not to ever rebel against it, effectively indoctrinating Japrael Sector into imperial heartland mentality. This was their collective victory over war. One that Organa and the likes of him could never truly achieve with their pretentious loyalty to the Empire.<br><br>For these actions Lux would be hated by the early rebel council. Not as a separatist, no. He was a republican for over a year. As a traitor to the rebel cause and a useless drag to it. But in the end all he ever did was serving his citizens till he could no more, using every tool in his disposal, like a true senator. And like a true servant of his king.

  They let Cassian serve. &nbsp;And don’t forget that Onderon was a Separatist state until the civil war during the CW show to reinstate the original monarchy.

  They did. There were a lot of CIS ships (even LH and Providence) in rebellion fleet.

  I fully believe that Plagus and Sidious foresaw that there would be unrest and resistance after the rise of the empire and that the clone wars was not only the spear that would end the Jedi but also as a way to preemptively cripple the opposition. If you spent 4 years viewing someone as a bitter enemy with different political and (thanks to republic propaganda) moral beliefs then when you suddenly find yourself fighting the government you wouldn’t want to associate with such people.

  one faction was officially called the &quot;Alliance to Restore the Republic&quot; and the others wanted so seperate from the republic so no wonder they didn&apos;t really get along

  I mean if I remember correctly there were some Separatist that joined the Rebels it&apos;s just that like 95% of their troops were droids hit with a mass shutdown code, and even without that code droids slow, overwhelming march usage wasn&apos;t how the rebels fought. Additionally the Empire was particularly hard on former Separatist worlds after the Clone Wars making it hard for them really do much to join without possibly making things worse then they already were, which was pretty bad. Think I once read something that had a Separatist not caring either way because yeah the Empire sucked but then what if it falls, the Republic they were just fighting against comes back and then it&apos;s more of the old problems from before the Clone War. Like for some fighting against the empire for rebels that glorified the old Republic was also a very unappealing idea.
