That's it, im officially claiming the Legends work is all Canon again. It was for decades, and it isn't like it's going to be retconned. So much of the source material for this video is better than the new stuff from Disney.

The James Luceno novel is so good. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrated by Daniel Davis as well. That dude has some serious range with the characters. If you guys have not listened to it yet, you should.

I've watched the movie too often to count but Palpatine never mentioned to Anakin that Plagueis was his master. Just what he discovered.

To my chagrin; due to recent retcons this video is legends. <br>In the current, official Disney canon (backed by reference books like The Secrets of the Sith), Plagueis was murdered by Palpatine before the events of The Phantom Menace. Palpatine killed his master years earlier—around the time he took Darth Maul as his secret apprentice. In canon, Palpatine acted as the sole, independent architect of the Naboo blockade and his own rise to Supreme Chancellor.

Sidious should have kept him in retrospect. Would not have been as useful in the conquering part of the equation but when the conquering the galaxy part was done and the Sith got to the governing what is conquered part I believe that the Muun would have more than pulled his weight behind the scenes. But the Sith are too obsessed with personal power and thinking short term. Ended up being their downfall yet again.
