  You know Ranaulf Tarkin’s human chauvinism notwithstanding, the ORSF actually was the perfect solution for policing the galaxy and better than just about anything else. It remained flexible and local enough to effectively police areas it’s people knew, and it wasn’t hamstrung by excessive centralization favored by his cousin Wilhuff

  I pretty frequently remind people that the part of the universe we get to see is an incredibly small slice of its history. Just like Lord of the Rings, theres THOUSANDS of years of lore not shown in the movies
