  One thing that I noticed about the Gilmore Girls pilot that I absolutely love: At the start when we see Lorelai in Stars Hollow talking to the people she&apos;s most comfortable with and in the environment she&apos;s most comfortable in, the conversations flow seamlessly. They&apos;re fast and quipy and all the characters understand each other perfectly. But, when she goes to her parents house the conversations are stilted, uncomfortable, and broken up with long pauses filled heavy with silence.<br>It&apos;s storytelling at it&apos;s finest, and one of the reasons why Gilmore Girls has one of the best pilots I&apos;ve ever seen.
