  I actually knew a girl who's love language was gifts, and the way she explained it was that it really is about the thought of the gift. For example (for context, we worked a camp together) and a student got her a rock because because she said something about missing her dog and said it could be her pet rock for the summer. She cried when she got it because she found it to be so thoughtful. I think some people say that's their love language, when in reality, they just like getting stuff

  The funny thing about the dobbelganger situation is that Chelsea was shredded to bits for saying that somebody else told her she resemble Megan Fox (which she kinda does a little bit), while Nick only got a little bit of ridicule for saying he looked better than Travis Kelce AND resembled Henry Cavill.

  As someone whose main love language is gifts, it’s not buying things. It’s like, hey, I went to the buffet and saw they had your favorite thing. I got you some. I don’t need you to spend money on me, but it’s nice to have that physical manifestation of me being on your mind.

I felt loved when people thought to offer gum/tictacs, grab me a drink while they&apos;re in the kitchen, made an extra sandwich for me, left me a note, etc. It&apos;s more about the giving gesture than the object itself.<br><br>That said, pretty sure she literally means presents.
