"Sometimes the best games don't ask you to finish them, they ask you to live in them". Spot on!

The best way to play crimson desert is to set a timer on your phone reminding you that you need to drink water and walk around

I have slow walked in Crimson Desert more than in all past games I have played in last 10 years.

I'm 45 hours in crimson desert. I feel like I am going to be spending 200 hours or more in this game. Best 75 dollars I have spent.

I agree with everything you are saying. Crimson Desert has not just raised the bar, it's attached rockets to the bar and now the bar is in space.

I noticed that everyone who complained that the 1st 10 hours are bad are people who are focusing on the MSQ and trying to optimize their playthrough.
My 1st 10 hours were amazing cause as soon as I got freedom. I saw a massive tower in the distance and went for it. Then I spent about 7-8 hours just exploring and remembered that I need to do the arm wrestling quest in the 1st town.
I honestly don't care about any of the quests, I just go to what piques my interest and enjoy the journey.

High fantasy exploration sandbox is exactly what I was looking for, and man does this game make exploring worth it cause the POIs are so beautiful.
The college with all the scholars is so far my favourite place. I spent over 2 hours there just looking at everything in awe.

Remember when we were kids and had a box full of random toys, like a dinosaur, space man, some guns, swords, and stuff and just made them work together... that's this game, and I love it. Haven't been this engrossed by a game world since Oblivion.

Some games make you feel like, “Hey, maybe it’s time to finish up,” after about 40 hours of play. But Crimson Desert makes you feel like, “Hey, this is just the beginning,” even after 100 hours. The gameplay itself isn’t particularly forgiving, but the game’s systems constantly encourage you to keep playing, offering an endless kind of generosity.

This game is legit this generation's Skyrim. i dont even look at the map anymore. i see something in the distance, jump on my horse and i go there. Even discovered some bosses in castles. CD is not a game you wanna rush through, you live in that world and create your own story. Phenomenal.

Yesterday i climbed a mountain just to see the view from the top and it took me 20 minutes but felt like 5. The scale of things is next level immersive. Absolutley gorgeous views.
