  Fun fact: Goyen IS actually an alternate timeline version of Kliff where he made wrong decisions and became jaded and was unable to defeat Umba. The game tells you this in books found in the Abyss Archive.

  I actually love all the greymane companion quests even if you go slowly. It makes you feel like you’re in the game . The immersion is amazing.

  CD is the new reference when it comes to open world sandbox games. in my 30+ years of gaming nothing comes close to it. its a true masterpiece

  I fell in love with gaming nearly 40 years ago, played on basically every kind of system, for sure well over a thousand different games and never lost my passion for it. But with Crimson Desert I fell in love for gaming again, and it feels like the first time.<br><br>I arrived in Pywel 9 weeks ago, now I‘m 260 hours in and just left Hernand and started chapter 6 after a good 100 hours playing no main quest at all. There is so much to see, explore, do, find, so many secrets to unveil, so many people to meet, hidden storys, secrets in the open, you can go everywhere, whenever you want to, every single session feels like a journey of its own. And every player can write his own story.<br>This is not a game you play to finish it. It‘s a world to live in.<br><br>I saw probably 25% of the game by now and they are already coming up with their (dev quote) »FIRST« DLC. And not only with a new area, but with new mechanics and gameplay.<br>Incredible.<br><br>For me Crimson Desert is the first MSOG.<br>Massiv Singleplayer Offline Game. It has all characteristics of a MMO, but you can play it alone.<br>At this release pace - forever.

  nearly 500 hours in and still finding new stuff. Yesterday whilst stood on the train, I found out you can manipulate smoke using natures snare.

  you will be surprised and understand about Kliff story when you finish the game and read the volume of books in the first abyss and it&apos;s beautiful.

  With only about 6 weeks since launch to have 200 hours in gameplay is crazy. I’ve got maybe 25hrs but I’ve only had it for a week. But I get it. The game is that engaging. I regularly hear the beginning is trash but I didn’t feel that way for the opening chapters. In fact I found it to be really cool. It was all so random it had a sense of wonder I feel is all too lacking in games these days. I really don’t think it will take me too long to get to that 200hr milestone.

  Good video, bro. I appreciate the original script and narration. Not only on originality but their quality, as well. And--of course, the time spent recording the game to create this video. All in all, a very respectable creation. Kudos!

  The key to this game is to not go around chasing quest markers. Exist in the game. Live in the game and it becomes something &nbsp;else entirely. Go explore and stop watching YouTube videos on whats out there. Just go. I got lost in the game just unlocking locked doors and seeing what loot is in there. Once I changed my play style from running &nbsp;from one quest to the next and started exploring the experience took off.

  i have a 5070 in my laptop and i run the game mostly on high/ultra, but put lighting and shadows to cinematic. using 2x FG and DLSS quality i sit around 130 FPS and it looks great. No frame loss unless im doing something like facetanking all of flame knight castle...would recommend!
