  I don't know whats more frustating... trying to get the first Datapad or that f*cking falcon scene everytime I have to restart because of the checkpoint

  the first datapad is so hard there's a separate achivment JUST for killing the elite, and reading the datapad gives a different one entirely.

  thanks. A big middle finger to whoever thought up the first data pad in the first level on that elite that runs away, and for the lone wolf data pad that can only be found while you're getting shot at by things that never stop spawning and never actually give you a chance to read the blasted thing

  For anyone here two years later trying to get the cloaked Elite on Winter Contingency, the Acrophobia skull has been added to Reach, so you can fly over to him and just unload your AR to kill him very quickly. He doesn't fight back, either.

  I will never understand why the developers would abandon the #1 coolest and most unique collectible in all of gaming in exchange for a generic text file data pad like most other games have. I thought long and hard of all the collectibles I&apos;ve ever seen in gaming and the Skulls in Halo 2 and 3 were the coolest and most unique one I could think of. Unlike Halo CE Anniversary, in Halo 2 and 3 you could pick up the skulls and carry them around and use them as a melee weapon. That is already extremely unique and awesome, I can&apos;t think of any other game that let&apos;s you do that. But there is also another awesome layer to it most people don&apos;t know about. When I was a kid I actually thought you had to carry the Skull all the way to the end of the level in order to unlock it. So I did that for every level in the game and it was extremely fun. I loved putting the skull down somewhere, defeating all the enemies and then coming back to pick it up and move to the next area. Even though I found out you didn&apos;t have to do that, I will never forget how much fun it was and I still wish that&apos;s how it actually was in every Halo game. I will also never forget how disappointed I was when &nbsp;playing CE Anniversary and finding out they removed the ability to hold the skull and carry it around. Now they just disappear the second you touch them, making them just as as generic and boring as every other video game collectible in every other game. They got rid of the most unique collectible ever and turned it into a generic one. I don&apos;t understand why I&apos;m the only person that sees the value in the concept of carrying them. I love it so much and I will never understand why the developers would just drop such a great thing...
