  Brother. It’s the inherent fear of disease. <br>That uncanny valley between healthy and corpse. <br>All our ancestors inherited revulsion towards it. <br>Could also be a useful tool to mimic if you need it.

  The best thing about this movie is that I knew what was coming, I had everything predicted down to the number while I was watching. Yet, I still felt tense, I dreaded and was anxious over what was coming. Like a hurricane, you know it’s coming but when it does, you’re still anxious. I really enjoyed this film.

  The Sarah car scene is so peak. I had a different experience, I had this feeling of intense dread from the jump. And as that scene went on, the dread just grew and grew and grew. I expected the scare, but I never expected it would be so brutal and sudden. I was expecting Nikki showing up, Sarah notices, bad happens.<br><br>This movie is so good at subverting expectations, cause tbh I thought Nikki was gonna throw hands at the party when she was standing right behind Sarah 😂

  Gonna be honest, I walked in the theater not expecting much. I left with less money but also humbled. Whether you’re an old school horror fan, a suspense thriller fan, or a non horror fan, it has something for everybody.

  i think the best part of this film is the absolute discomfort you feel watching it. right after the dinner scene it cuts to a scene that was so off putting with no transition that it made the audience in the theater i was in laugh and then slowly stop laughing and go into full silence when we realized what was happening and what we were actually seeing on the screen. everyone in the theater was on the same page.

  I really liked this movie and I&apos;ve seen it twice so far. Inde Navarrette does such a good job contorting her face that it was easy to forget that it was the same actress. <br>Also, what&apos;s frustrating about The Conjuring clip you showed is I found the first half of it with the baby doll creepy. But once the doll starts standing up and the smiling demon is revealed, that&apos;s what it got silly. I don&apos;t know exactly what they could have done to fix it, but less is more. Letting the viewer&apos;s imagination run wild makes it more unsettling.

  I don&apos;t hear enough people talking about how amazing the soundtrack of this movie is. It&apos;s so ominous and surreal, which really helps sell that this thing controlling Nikki is not human but some otherworldly entity trying to be one.

  It is rare for me to see a horror film at a theater, and experience a whole audience just in a constant state of absolute terror. I heard people scream in the audience.

  Goated thumbnail. That&apos;s my favorite shot/scene in the film cinematography wise. As someone who listened to the movie soundtrack countless times I loved the soundtrack insert on this vid.
