  Foxy is typically associated with Michael and Fredbear is associated with the Crying Child. Maybe that's why they are paired together. Of course, that's retrospective but still.

  I have a theory about Foxy. Instead of face identification, he has thermal sensors so that he can run to where the people are. It’s how he knows how to run to the office in FNAF 1, it’s how he can see past the mask in FNAF 2, it’s how he finds the fresh MCI bodies in Foxy Go Go Go (cause there’s no way in Hell that William left the corpses out in the open), why he’s always twitchy (hot stage lights throwing off the sensors), AND why he hates being watched (the cameras would also generate heat when active and throw off his sensors).

  My personal theory is that he is more aware than the other animatronics, but not to the level of the puppet. In his ucn voice lines, he shows awareness of where he is and what state he is in. His voice lines are fun and charismatic. But he stays in character the whole time. I don't think Frits is aware of the fact he's a ghost possessing an animatronic, or maybe he doesn't want to accept it and stays in character as a coping mechanism

  The reason why Foxy and Fredbear are shown together, it's meant to represent Michael and Fredbear during the Bite of 83.

  I always felt the reason we die when Foxy attacks us is because the jumpscare causes us to have a heart attack. Like you said he’s clearly not as aggressive and erratic as the others ( especially Chica and Bonnie ), and  just slightly enters in the room leaving his head stick out from the corner but literally do nothing else. I feel like it’s the stress and panic of seeing him running through the hallway and arriving without having the time to close the door that causes the heart attack and kills us.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9LFB0V01IM&amp;t=150">2:30</a> the reason why Foxy may be on the same slide is Fredbear could be because he&apos;s the show&apos;s villain. It&apos;s supposed to show the main character standing up to the main villain. In Freddy and friends on tour he&apos;s the villain in that and he&apos;s specifically a pirate which doesnt fit with the rest of the characters which points that he may be an antagonist character to the main cast. He was probably popular enough that he got an animatronic made of him and probably wasn&apos;t always depicted this way as he seemed to be a popular pick for partys as seen in Foxy GoGoGo. This Foxy villain angle is also supported by the brother using a mask of him to scare his brother.
