  <b>@Banana Ballistics,</b> a humble request. Can you leave the velocity readings up for longer than a half-second? We barely can see what readings you recorded and I personally have to rewind once or twice to see which round you tested and what the readings were.

  Hi Banana. Those &quot;knots&quot; on the wood are 3 times harder than the wood itself. Try with a drill, you will be suprised.

  My family decided to purchase a 5.7 based on the flat trajectory. Now, we can swat gophers and other varmints up close or far out with little need to allow for the distance.<br><br>Rabbits in the garden at 50 yards, no problem. Grackles harassing the robins at 100 yards, the 5.7 can decapitate them with ease.

  Having been hit (x2) by a 22 mag (6 inch revolver) 20 + years ago working in LE, I can personally attest to the stopping power of the 22 mag.

  As a carpenter for 30 years this year I can tell you that spot of the 4 by 4 is different density where the knot is that wood by those knots is a lot harder to
