  You may not have noticed but you have gotten MUCH BETTER and you were pretty darn good to start. You videos are informative without dragging on. You show rather than tell. You edit out all the mindless filler. You are a very pleasant sounding presenter. Thanks for another gem. This one did not fight you at all. You expected a fight!

  Thanks for using that Grimm&apos;s Märchen cassette in your repairs. My Grandmother had the same recording on vinyl when I was a little kid. Every time I hear a snippet of that, it sends a wave of nostalgia through me.<br>The narration on that tape is top-notch, btw.

  Saving a cassette deck is always an honourable deed. Appreciation for that and the fact TEAC/Tascam is the only HiFi manufacturer keeping the format alive.

  The panel on the rear is for the optional XLR in/out sockets. Great deck the 112, I love mine.👍

  Looks like those fake plastic &apos;screws&apos; with perfectly vertical slots are used to allow repeatable settings of those big knobs below them (which have easily readable digits printed on them for a reason 😊).

  TASCAM C-1 was the professional studio cassette deck. The 112 was just a TEAC in wolf&apos;s clothing.

  It&apos;s always a good idea to check for cold/cracked solder joints once you remove the botom cover :) Especially on those RCA jacks that often fail.
