  hearing about her mother havingschizophrenia and would literally say the neighbors stole the bushes and Amanda would comfort her and say yeah but it's okay cuz she left even better ones.. that's extremely deep and it says so much about her childhood. I'm so happy she has created this stunning beautiful life for herself. she deserves it. (tho I know nobody's life is really perfect, sadly)

  'Yes Mom I saw the neighbor steal the bushes but she planted better ones'. Genius.  That's so sweet. You can't argue when someone is sick but you can gently help them without alarming them.

  I met her twice here in Brazil. She was so kind, calm and down to earth. I asked her about the perfume she was wearing... she told me the name, opened her purse, showed it to me and asked if I wanted to put some on me... a living legend 💖

  She had a run in with serial killer Joel Rifkin when she was working as a doninatrix! I highly recommend her book. &nbsp;Amanda is a legend ❤

  Amanda Lepore was the first trans person I ever saw. I was a teenager and I saw her in a magazine. I was absolutely enamoured, her glamour was so extreme. I’ve been such a fan ever since, she’s a living icon and I’m glad she’s getting her flowers.

  I can see why she is so loved and respected. It’s rare to witness someone who is so completely themselves and comfortable in their authenticity. She is so beautiful. Love the way she adorns herself. What a fireworks of a life.

  Such a sweet soul to mention her mom &amp; the struggles growing up together. But not cast her as a villain, &amp; even did her best to keep her mom calm with the disease saying she saw what wasn&apos;t there. That&apos;s love despite the pain, made me cry. I wish her nothing but health and happiness 💖
