The domestic car dealers killed themselves when they stopped making affordable sedans. Consumers killed themselves when they convinced themselves that they just had to have an $80k pickup with massage seats.

Here in Utah, there are dealerships that "specialize" in rebuilt title trucks. The average truck they are currently selling are 2017-2022 Tacoma 4x4s, they are STILL trying to get almost $30,00 For a rebuilt Tacoma. The car market has lost its mind. Stop buying .

We always leave if a dealer says they won’t move on price. At least when asking for a reasonable movement in our favor… we fully recognize dealers need to make a profit, but not a 500% markup.
