  I remember a report about a GTA Online cheater whose antics got OTHER players banned. They had a minigun modded to fire money instead of bullets, spraying cash at other players indiscriminately. Anyone they "shot" was promptly auto-banned as a cheater for acquiring a ton of money impossibly fast.

  Im suprised stardew valley wasn't included in this, that game had multiple different ways of shaming players who used a glitch and even has Mr Qi shoving the player down a cliff if you glitch your way into the summit.

  I had the tax collector coming after me in the witcher 3 but not for the cows or pearls; there was a sword in some ruins in kaer morhen that respawned every time you fast travelled there and I became insanely rich selling them

  How about the Frying Pan quest in Fable? If you find all six hints that lead you to the Frying Pan's location, it will be one of the best weapons in the game. If you decided to skip the quest and dig up the Frying Pan right away, it will be completely useless.

  Geralt's sword is not solid silver. Such a sword would be completely unusable, for weight and fragility reasons. It's got a steel core with silver plating, to make it light enough to swing and sturdy enough to not bend the moment you swing it, while maintaining enough silver on the surface to harm monsters that couldn't be hurt with a standard steel sword.

  I'm reminded of how in Jade Empire you could save scum to always win at the gambling side game, however if you won 7 times in a row the Dealer has a minor freak out about your divine luck and then just...explodes. (obviously you can't gamble anymore after that happens)
