  The funny bit about Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories is that this kind of bullshit is 100% canon to the show. Most of the Millennium Items grant cheat powers. The Eye lets you read your foe's mind, the Necklace lets you see the future and plan around it, but the one people forget is that YUGI cheats. In the final duel of the original series, after the Pharaoh draws just the card he needs, someone mentions how lucky that was, and Ishizu clarifies that actually he WILLED that card to the top of his deck. A moment later, he deck searches by pulling the wanted card out of his deck without looking. There is no Heart of the Cards, the Pharaoh just is a Forbidden Memories boss.

  The fact that in the new Legend of Zelda games if you fight during a storm you get hit by lightning but Lynels with metal weapons don&apos;t.

  Fun Fact about the Forbidden Memories thing (and honestly what I thought you were gonna mention) if you yourself cheat and get super powerful cards that actually allow you to beat that first big Supposed to Lose fight, the game basically has an extra scene where he&apos;s like &quot;Nuh-uh, that duel didn&apos;t count! AGAIN!&quot; and you just have to duel him until he wins.

  Pokémon early generations were terrible for this: they rolled accuracy checks for moves before choosing them so their inaccurate moves would almost always hit because if they missed they just wouldn&apos;t use them, and chose their moves after knowing what yours would be - probably most egregious being in Gen I, Blaine would often heal his Pokémon the turn you attacked them, ignoring the rule that items go before moves
