That was incredibly instructive. I am learning a lot about the use of the oscilloscope. What could have caused that broken ground in the voltage divider resistors? Also, in the discord you guys already pointed me to broken traces but I could only test for continuity in the main chips and could not find anything. Very interesting.<br>That GG has a great sentimental value to me. Thank you a million times. I am happy to see that the old GG helped in a sense: we now know more about the data pins and how they can be mixed. That "hairline" bridge I missed when I reflowed. My bad. Sorry!

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that my Game Gear had the EXACT same audio issue where the ground was missing from the left hand side of R49. I bridged it to the LHS of C15, and my sound is back!<br><br>Thanks once again. This and your other video about Game Gear audio troubleshooting were both extremely useful.
