I have owned a VW Phaeton for 12 years. Paid £11,000, with 74000 miles. Now 225000 miles. Breakdowns, 1 alternator . Never put oil, or water in between service. <br>Still drives beautifully.

I owned a phaeton and it was the best car I ever had. People just didn’t know what it was and I felt very smug knowing I’d bought a car not built by accountants but a visionary engineer. I loved it . I want another one .

Hi I purchased a vw phaeton 3 yrs ago and it been the best car I've ever owned I spent 55yrs in the motor trade ( Rolls Royce trained ) this is a top video and the skoda is a great car too !! Regards Del

My 2003 XJ8 4.2 puts a smile on my dial when i walk towards it and drive it, it turns my head as i walk away from it 🤣 its Beautiful to look at and drives beautifully But! Im 75 pass me my pipe and slippers 🤣🤣🤣

Its parts. Apprently parts for a phetom are ny on imoossible to source. If you arent a mechanic repair costs are as expensive as a bentley

An XF portfolio is the best value you can get. The Phaeton is a bargain but the road tax is £790 a year.

This is all very well, until you have to repair the thing. The cost of Phaeton parts is horrendous, assuming you can get them. Yes, the cars are good value to buy but a 50 grand car has repair costs and spares related to it's original selling price

A phaeton estate but they never made one. My mates Tuareg is great but it’s not as luxurious.

Who would want to buy a car like those now especially with the new emissions coming in . If your car exceeds emissions that different ftom when it left the factory then it fails the MOT . They want cars off the road its that simple .
