  I'm new to your channel but it speaks to me in Alabama. I'm a nurse and love to serve others but my joy is greatest at home in my garden. I rush home from work to sew seeds, pick squash vine borer eggs off my plants, pull weeds, and water. I always joke that I would do this for a living if I could as it truly makes me happy and gives me peace. After watching your video, I sewed about 40 or 50 sunflower seeds and about 20-30 zinnias. Thank you.

  You are blessed my grandparents had an orchard and that orchard was their survival of WW2. Not weapons, many blame apples for a fall from grace yet my grandparents proved them wrong.

  You are so inspiring! I don't dream of quitting my 8-3 because I like it, but I dream of paying off my farm quickly and cash-flowing some additional buildings on it.

  Many blessings to you from the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada.<br><br>I am 50…with three young kids…and I have been on my 1acre of land for 5 years, slowing building and growing my gardens, my orchard, and farm. &nbsp;I work casually as an RN but I want to use my land to generate an income.<br><br>Thank you for your video! &nbsp;This was very very helpful!

  I&apos;m new, too! After watching the one about family and homesteading, you hit the nail on the head. I&apos;m 73 and a great grandmother and my focus is on FAMILY and providing for them. We have two grandsons and a great granddaughter living with us. My husband works part time and the two grandsons full time plus overtime. I retired from full time at 62 after back surgery and fully retired at 66, which is when my husband went part time. I&apos;m not directly on the same path as you, BUT we are running along a path going in the same direction. God bless y&apos;all and keep growing.

I decided to start growing clean fruits and vegetables on our small plot of land to ensure our food security. Perhaps later, I’ll be able to buy another plot to grow produce for sale.
