  Yeah, they didn&apos;t really turn on those lights so you could see it drift away. They turn on those lights so they can inspect the outside of the ship. Before they tried to re-enter the Earth&apos;s atmosphere. They&apos;d like to make sure that their heat shield is intact. It&apos;s a really big deal. It&apos;s not for looks at all.

  The de-orbit burn is to de-orbit the vehicle along the projected route. At 275kms any vehicle would de-orbit itself due to atmospheric drag and land somewhere where it wasn&apos;t supposed to. <br><br>At 275kms no launch vehicle would just &apos;stay in orbit&apos;. You need to work on your information.
