I purchased a 2 year old Chinese Shire 25hp 4x4 tractor, at the time I was told it had a Japanese engine (which I took with a very large pince of salt) I have owned it for 18 years and I can honestly say that tractor has not missed a beat, it mostly sits outside, most of the dashboard clocks don't work, I've had to replace the ignition switch a few times but it is a great running tractor.

I have had a Dong Feng 40hp 4x4 tractor with 3 way front loader. It cost around $10k at the time in 2015. It has been almost faultless and has given reliable daily service since then. I have been very happy with it for my use case.
