  Thank you for taking the time to change the tires and retesting instead of stopping at &quot;how the manufacturer intended.&quot; The way you have done it is far more real world as changing wheels and tires is the easiest upgrade to a vehicle anyone can and would do, and it&apos;s good to know that it won&apos;t solve this Hybrid Forrester&apos;s limitations. Bravo!

  I think the tires did their job even though the car didn&apos;t make it to the top. This video does prove how important tires are when off-roading.

  Hey Ryan, &nbsp;I really appreciate your effort re changing the tires and where/how it helps. &nbsp;You do have a gnarly set of trails there but its realistic and shows how challenging it can be for all sorts of vehicles (I&apos;ve seen you try with several vehicles).

  Best to test the non-hybrid 2025 FORESTER on the same trails to do fair assessment of what are the DIFFERENCES in performance BETWEEN DRIVETRAINS.<br><br>HOPE you can do this and then summarize.

  Based on this and other reviews, the hybrid is just not as capable off road as the standard gasoline version.

  As much as people are asking for a Forester Hybrid Wilderness (and the same for the Crosstrek), most of the benefits of the hybrid are in the city, not on highways and backcountry roads where the Wilderness goes more often. A little extra torque from electrification would be a great thing for offroading Subarus, but it looks like this generation isn&apos;t giving it in the way that&apos;s useful to offroading.<br><br>Thanks for doing the test again with the AT tires.
