  I drive a 2004 forester, manual with hi/lo. What a brilliant vehicle, l go bush a lot. Like you l take my time, check things and then drive forward. Subies  are very underrated, allwheel drive works. Thanks for the great video, tops.

  This was a proper adventure and I had second hand dread for that river crossing. If people are honest a Subaru or similar AWD is all you need for round Aus trip. They’re very capable, very comfortable and can do most NP tracks.

  Wow, anyone else do the Strez in an LJ Torana in the 90&apos;s ? or a VH commy wagon? <br>room to sleep in the back, roof racks with corro &amp; straps, star pickets &amp; hand winches. <br>No GPS no radio, no internet, no camera, no clue.<br>Amazing how much the world has changed.

  Love my Forester. I don&apos;t do anything like this, but just regular adventure stuff on trails, camping, hiking whatever. It goes from city to mountain to snow to dirt like it&apos;s nothing. Such a practical daily into weekend warrior car. I love it. Yeah, you&apos;re not going up insane trails and rock crawling but if you just want an affordable adventure car you can&apos;t go wrong.

  Stumbled across &nbsp;this video. Good job with the story telling part👍 <br>As you &amp; others have pointed out - you don&apos;t necessarily NEED an overloaded overbuilt 78 series &nbsp;(or the like) to cross this track.<br><br>&amp; FTLOG - Don&apos;t tell anybody - Because how &nbsp;would 🤡Andrew St. Pierre🤡 justify ALL the videos he&apos;s made over all these years🤣
