With the new update, IMO batting is actually much harder in classic than it is in "standard/modern" mode. I am using modern, and had to go down a difficulty level to get used to the updated batting, but once I got used to it, I think it is alright on the difficult settings (I am only up to 4 star difficulty so far), just challenging and really only rewards excellent timing and precise click placement. Because of the click placement being so important, classic mode is truly a "roulette" batting mode. For example, bunting - you can absolutely bunt down the third base line, but you have to place the swing/click on the right side of center where the ball comes in. If you bunt "center-center" it will only go slightly towards third base. I have also found a lot more success leaving the batting stance alone unless I really need to hit to one side of the field for a specific reason.

I dig how you have a Super Mario Bros 2 song snuck in periodically in your BYB videos lol ❤️
