  We need justice for blobfish. A lot of people think that this creature is ugly, but it only looks that way when humans are taking it on the surface, and the lack of pressure kills it and makes it look that way. Blobfish in its natural environment looks beautiful, and it would be cool if you could carve it!

  this is probably my favorite sculpture of yours. it is stunningly beautiful. very, VERY well done.<br><br>would love to see a galápagos giant tortoise! they&apos;re just so cute

  My father was a carpenter, cabinet maker, wooden boat builder and instructor in wooden boat building at the Seattle Art Institute. A master woodworker. He was also a brilliant nature photographer, he once had a full-color insert in the Seattle Times of his wetlands photography in the Arboretum adjacent marsh. He was a well known nature conservationist who was part of drafting legislation to stop the capture of orcas in Washington’s coastal waters. He established several non-profit organizations to protect sea creatures, and as I child I even got to meet Jacques Cousteau once when they were working on protecting the chambered nautilus. Approximately 1977/78. <br>I just lost my dad in April, at 90. This project is such a brilliant intersection of two things that were deeply entwined in my father’s life. Thank you so much. I really enjoyed watching this. Were he here today, I would have sent it to him. ❤ I often shared your videos with him.<br>(His name was John Paul Huskinson. Born August 25, 1935. In Nebraska. He lived the majority of his life in Seattle, WA.)

  You should have leaved the live edge of the base. It would looked like a coral . But eather ways . &nbsp;Beautiful work.

  Who doesn&apos;t love a Penguin. It&apos;s funny, as I watch your videos, I think, &apos;hey, I got a grinder and dremel, I can do that&apos;. But in reality, if you don&apos;t have that artist vision and touch, you&apos;re just carving firewood. Another piece of art. Worth the price.

  Absolutely beautiful!<br>Me and my fishing partner had a very strange experience with a whale shark. Trolling back to Oahu from Molokai, we saw something under the surface and at first thought it might be a submerged cargo net. You don’t want to get that sort of thing tangled in your props, so we slowly approach it. If it is a cargo net, it’ll definitely have Mahi and Ono all around it. Any kind of ripe rubbish in the water starts a food chain effect. But this thing seemed to be around 6 feet below the surface. The water was a little rough so it was hard to see details clearly. I saw all these white things under the boat and it looked like a school of jellyfish. We slowed down to stay right over it and I said, “It can’t be jellyfish, they don’t swim in perfect unison like that. The white spots should be more random. We slowed down even more and saw the spots tapering off and then this huge tail swept right along side the boat. <br>“It’s a whale shark! Turn away to starboard! We don’t want our lures to snag this thing!” So we turned away and left this beautiful creature alone. Our boat was 27 feet long and this whale shark was at least twice as long as that. First and last time seeing a whale shark in Hawaii and what an odd way to see one. From above. 🤙🏼
