  am i the only one who think it’s absolutely crazy that the guy from the first story invited <i>his</i> friends in to his girlfriend’s house while she was asleep??? it doesn’t sound like she was even remotely friends with them, so it’s not like it was a mutual friend situation either. i feel like nobody is talking about that enough.

  He invited drunk men into her home while she was sleeping, and encouraged them to take apart her stuff and steal it. This guy is horrendous.<br><br>Plus, &quot;patches are cheap&quot; is the reason they should have bought their own and never taken hers!!

  As a trauma therapist I have worked with multiple people that have legitimately been traumatized by past therapists. It disturbes me deeply how many examples of enmeshment and manipulation I’ve heard.

  Therapist here! The therapist you read about is waaaaaay out of bounds and failing to use any therapeutic care I’ve heard of… grant it models create different avenues but this therapist seems to be pouring fuel on a fire that’s been smoldering. Maybe the therapist didn’t think she should marry after three months. Maybe the therapist has personal issues. I’d bet on both of those. Ick.

  So as someone that has been a therapist for almost 15 years there is no possible way that that person is a therapist. Counselor probably but definitely not a therapist. That goes against so many of our practices and is extremely counterintuitive.

  100% on what the therapist said. &nbsp;I was ambushed by my ex and her therapist in a similar manner. &nbsp;I talked about it years later with another therapist and her jaw dropped. &nbsp;&quot;That is <b>highly</b> unethical. &nbsp;I would never convert an individual to couples therapy.&quot;
