  As soon as I was diagnosed with breathing problems when I was born, my grandma quit smoking cold turkey after being a HEAVY smoker for 40+ years just so she could be a part of my life without putting me at risk. These parents don&apos;t want to give up their selfish and narcissistic tendencies for the betterment of their family. All that matters is their little world.

  That&apos;s the thing, if there&apos;s genuinely not a single reason you can think of that your kid went no-contact with you, no conflict, good relationship, and then suddenly they just broke it off, a normal parent would be concerned that their child joined a cult or is in an abusive relationship that is systematically isolating them. A normal parent that saw no warning signs would not be angry, they would be worried. If you&apos;re just angry, they&apos;ve probably explained to you what the problem is and you dismissed or refused to acknowledge their reasons. These parents tell on themselves from their tone alone without ever needing to hear the child&apos;s reasons.

  What gets me about these types is they are angry and annoyingly smug. Meanwhile, their grown &quot;kids&quot; can&apos;t tell the story of cutting off their parents without crying. Says a lot, no?

  It’s funny that the grandma lady mentioned that the grandkids are “older kids” implying they’re old enough to make their own opinions about grandma yet are “being controlled” by their parents’ opinions. No —— they’re old enough now &nbsp;to see and understand the pain that grandma caused their mom. Speaking from experience.

  The one with the Estranged and Rearranged podcast married not one, but two sex offenders who went on to assault her son and nephew. That is why he doesn’t talk to her and why he keeps his children away from her. &nbsp;So to say it’s abuse to keep the grandkids away is insane considering she brought literal child predators into her home.

  One of the reasons why some people decide to NOT even have kids is to protect them from generational trauma, therefore protecting humans that don’t even exist, yet these estranged parents can’t understand that anyone would protect their kids from them when they’re actually causing trauma in real life
