We (when I mowed) used ultra high lift exclusively unless we couldn't get them. It helps lift wet grass and suck up old stuff kind of like dethatching.

How about some Kavli beast blades?

I never take off that much grass anyway. Keep my grass around four inches at shortest. Better for grass to hold moister during hot summer and controls weed and fireants.

When you run over the same area on gravel, 1 st run more next less and last run hardly any caus you blew the loose first and less and less as you go ,so yes less dust in the end as i predicted, not less because of blade style but the noumber of passes in the same place

Wow very interesting when I was the Groundskeeper for the School District I would write up an Oil change every two weeks (approximately 60 to 80 hrs) of operation and a Blade Change every week of operation. The districted Owned 7 Different Properties that had to be taken care of. It was the school bus Maintenance guys that did the work on the mowers Typically Monday and Tuesdays those days I spent picking up a lot of trash from the students and dealing with other problems. I just sent that information in with my hours logged on shift and Engine hours logged each day to the Superintendent's office. My Direct supervisor was the Superintendent himself and then I had to answer to the Board of education back when I was working for them.. They didn't like me all that well lol Always grilling me about something. Anyway I know we had a bucket with blades in it in the event of an Emergency but our district didn't allow us to perform the regular Maintenance on the equipment for accountability reasons. Back then I never bothered to look or understand what the different blades were etc. The Bus Barn guys always took care of all that for us. I know I would have the Sign the log books on pickup of the equipment that oil was full and looked cleaned along with any other notes I might have to add. I only worked for three years for them I am so glad I got out.. They were not pleasant group to work for. Oh and I hate Toilet paper and forks.. You haven't lived life till your on your hands and knees pulling plastic utensils out of the ground all day long.

Is there like a mower wash in your area? That beast looked cleaner than my truck in the start of this video. Great content. I guess the next step is to see durability and edge retention.
