  My dad smoked Woodbine and Park Drive. He died aged 55. Im 77 so it makes me sad that he was only that age.

  I smoked Embassy No1 for years, having been initiated into smoking with Peter Stuyvesant whilst still at school. I gave up smoking in 2000, having suffered horrendous coughs for years, coupled with broken ribs from coughing too much. I haven't had such coughs since and I'm now 75 years old! It's never too late to give up! In the 1960's 20 Peter Stuyvesant cost about 6 shillings (30 pence). but would equate to a much higher price today because of inflation.

  My mother was a Woodbine smoker, she died aged 60 from lung cancer!

  I used to smoke embassy blue small ones not the king size. Great smoke. Stopped when I was 44 years old had a heart attack. I had it in the hospital less than 10% damage. Cleaned up my act. Blessing in disguise I had no intentions of giving up. Even my mother was surprised I gave up the ciggies. She said you enjoyed your cigarette. 68 years old now never had any chest problems keeping ok health. Going to the gym three times a week.

  My dad smoked Senior Service and my mam smoked Woodbines until their death's in 1973 and 1971 respectively at the age of 50 ( both ) , I smoked No 6 and then went on to Lambert and Butler but gave up 17 years ago and I've reached 68 so far

  My grandad used to smoke Navy Cut  Gold Leaf after a meal and me and my sisters took turns blowing out his match. He lived till 97 --miss him and  miss the smell in the seaside cottage on a summers morning.
