  Fun fact: In 1964, the Krew Kats hoped to receive sponsorship from the local Mitchells &amp; Butlers Brewery (who owned numerous live music clubs), even naming themselves the M&amp;B5. When it didn&apos;t happen, they changed their name to The Moody Blues.

  As a 12 year old my dad allowed me the fist taste of beer...and it was Double Diamond! with a big frothy moustache.

  Don&apos;t miss out on this then...<br>Double diamond is actually back on sale!<br>Bought 4 cans of DD in Tesco last week. <br>Brewed for Allsopps by Kirkstall brewery Leeds , in a weirdly tactile printed can.<br>Tastes exactly the same as it did in the 70&apos;s

  My gran used to make me a shandy with half a bottle of Webster&apos;s Green Label when I was 9. Whilst telling me &quot;don&apos;t tell your mum I&apos;ve given you this&quot;. I&apos;ve no idea if it was decent beer or not, I&apos;d had nowt to compare it with at that age apart from cans of Top Deck shandy. I used to walk back home feeling pretty good though.
