  TBF real porcelain from China didn’t break when hot tea was poured into it. The Chinese drink hot tea in porcelain and do not use milk and never had problems with their porcelain breaking, it was domestic porcelain that would break because the Europeans didn’t how to make it correctly. That’s why it was considered to be a sign of being lower class if you were a “milk first” person, it meant you couldn’t afford real Chinese porcelain

  Cucumber and cream cheese are my absolute favourite sandwich in an afternoon tea. My most disliked is salmon and cream cheese. I also prefer the fruit scone but controversially I also like butter then jam and then clotted cream. To wash it down a nice cup of Earl grey.

  You need to watch William Hanson on the proper way to take tea. &nbsp;You actually use the spoons(that came with) &nbsp;to place the cream and jam on your plate. &nbsp;Then your knife to put it on your scone from your plate.

  I am American. I love cucumber sandwiches! I am also a chocolate lover. There wasn&apos;t any here at this teatime. So I would deduct two points making them an 8 out of 10 experience.
