  This film was Jim Carrey&apos;s first serious role, as he had only acted in comedies before and had only become famous about 4 years prior. So at this time, Jim would have been well acquainted with the &apos;fame monster&apos; and felt in many ways his own life reflected Truman&apos;s. Feeling like his whole life was being televised, like he had no privacy left, the paranoia of public scrutiny and everyone knowing who you are, &nbsp;it was a deeply personal role.

  트루먼쇼에 나오는 감독역 배우분과 주인공역 배우, 이 두분은 영화 촬영 내내 단 한번도 얼굴을 본적이 없대요ㄷㄷ<br>그래서 마지막에 나누는 대화가 서로 실제로 처음 나누는 대화라고 함

  It&apos;s interesting to see everyone compliment the aesthetics of the town/Truman! Both would have been considered very old-fashioned and anachronistic when the movie came out, which helped highlight how artificial Truman&apos;s entire world was.<br><br>It&apos;s actually very brilliant production design. Truman lives in a world made up of products people can buy and has basically been trained to live an idealized 1950s post-WWII lifestyle, seemingly to prey on his viewers&apos; nostalgia. The only exception is the cars, those are all as modern as can be, because the show wouldn&apos;t be able to advertise vintage cars.

  크.. 명작 오브 명작 트루먼쇼 마지막 대사 ’다른데 뭐하지?‘ 가 깊은 메세지로 다가와요 저희 또한 마찬가지로 유튜브로 이 영상을 다 보면 다음 영상을 찾아 틀겠죠. 누군가의 희노애락이 담긴 순간들 소비하며 살죠 오늘날은 유튜브 등등 많이 매체들의 등장으로 더 심해져서 깊이 다가오네요 끊임없이 자극을 추구하는 인간들의 모습을 끊임없이 사료를 찾는 소,돼지와 같은 가축같이 잘 표현했다고 생각합니다

  You know this movie is good because people still argue about whether Truman discovered he was in a TV show during the Film or if he knew from the start. If you rewatch the movie with the idea that he already knew his life was a lie, you see a lot of different details you wouldn&apos;t notice on a first watch! It makes it seem like every action Truman takes during the Film is a plan for his escape. Really interesting!
