  I love implementing the ideals Simon discusses as well as I can in my middle management position. It is rather frustrating seeing a lack of implementation above my level and raising concerns falls on deaf ears

  The one thing that hit home for me was the comparing of yourself with others. &nbsp; Parents put this on their kids all the time and &nbsp;it needs to stop. &nbsp;It was the question, &quot; Why can&apos;t you be more like (persons name)? He/she does (this/ that) way better than you do&quot;. &nbsp; Why do they do this? Why can&apos;t people (parents especially) just accept another person the way they are and help them become , as Simon says, &quot; at their natural best&quot;? <br><br>This is way too much toxic crap the other person has to carry around for the rest of their life thinking of other people&apos;s strengths and not their own, and constantly having to &quot;measure up&quot; and never really discovering what THEY can do better. IT IS EXHAUSTING!!!!! &nbsp;It doesn&apos;t matter if &nbsp;their &quot;better&quot; is more or less than someone else&apos;s, it&apos;s just different and that&apos;s fine. People are losing out on different perspectives that could solve &nbsp;problems but won&apos;t let the other person say/do anything because they are not &quot;better &quot; than the other guy at the same thing. &nbsp; Thanks for reading.

  I&apos;ve been aware of Simon&apos;s field since 2017 and you inspired me a LOT to start my MBA thesis about purpose-driven companies and their effect on employee engagement. Thank you Simon for all your work, and dedication to leadership development. I wish you the best.
