I love Klavier even for the sole reason that he’s the only prosecutor that doesn’t seem to want to rip your guts out and make sushi out of them, but seems like someone you could have a drink with and crack jokes with after a heated trial

It is so disappointing that Klavier didnt become Apollo's prosecutor since both of them are perfect for the "dark side of the law" plotline. Apollo was shown as having trust issues with others because of how he was used/wasnt told the entire truth of everything. Then you have Klavier who only cares about the truth no matter how much it could hurt. Its a missed opportunity to not have them be in more trials together, especially if it involves massive levels of corruption we tend to see in the finale trials

Can we talk about how messed up it was that Kristoph was going to use forged evidence during his brother's first trial?

Apollo is Phoenix's awkward incerity and Edgeworth's incredibly professional attitude, while Klavier is Phoenix's lovable passion and Edgeworth's self-steem. They work because they're a pair of reflections to the first duo, with traits shuffled and their own unique qualities added in. And they kiss. Just like Miles & Phoenix.

I remember my first impression of him was "oh he's NICE" which was definitely a new thing for a prosecutor...

I feel starved for some Klavier + Kristoph interaction, both characters with insane potential to be used more.

The creator has gone on record that AA4 was supposed to have a sequel that delved deeper into the history of the Gavin brothers, setting up Kristoph to be a recurring villian like Morgan Fey. But after the polarized reception, cap com scrapped the idea for the slightly more tried and true formula in dual destiny's

Yeah I love Klavier, and wish we got to see more of him. Like especially in the finale of Dual Destinies with Apollo on the witness stand. Apollo on the witness stand emulating the man who Klavier lived his life with and helped to put away forever. If only we got to see his reaction to that

Something neat about how Klavier viewed Defense attorneys was turned on its head by the end. When he learned that his brother made him a pawn in it. He told Klavier about the forged evidence and had HIM out Phoniex, only learning years later that it was all his brothers design. That he unknowing and unwillingly continued the corrupt cycle. And we see how that messed with him. He probably hated himself, cursed himself for being so stupid.

I think one issue with Klavier's overall storyline is that there's this giant dead elephant in the room that I don't think they quite could have said outright: Kristoph was originally going to be the defense attorney for his first case, he knew about the fake evidence (and it being fake), and...he only told Klavier after the switch.

Klavier almost certainly connected the dots, at least by that last trial, and be realizing that if his brother had aimed to get rid of the forger he'd hired... What might Kristoph have had planned for his little brother once he'd used him to improve his public image as a defense attorney? I think he was allowed a little breakdown, as a treat...though it'd have been nice to give an official reason for him not, say, being the prosecutor for any cases in Dual Destinies. It'd not have taken more than a single line about having shifted roles -- maybe to reviewing cases.
