  In Pikmin 4, Louie notes on red pikmin has him admit that while he is tempted to eat pikmin he will not do it cause he knows their useful and he’s trying to practice self restraint, that said he does apparently use the ice pikmin to cool off any foods he wants so he basically uses them like waiters and freezers

  There some text in Pikmin 4 where Louie says he loves Golden Pikpik Carrots but doesn&apos;t earn enough to afford them, and he&apos;s &quot;waiting for the right shipment.&quot;<br><br>So him eating all the carrots in Pikmin 2 wasn&apos;t an impulsive mistake, but a premeditated act of fraud.

  What a great analysis though. Louie basically got isekai&apos;d into a bug buffet and everyone is trying to make him go back to work. His selfish behavior is such an excellent thematic foil to pikmin&apos;s theme of working together as a team to accomplish goals.

  I could be wrong, but I seem to remember one of the journal entries or piklopedia entries in Pikmin 4 saying that the reason Louie turns other castaways into leaflings is because before he left, the president told him to imitate his superior. So, when he arrived on the planet, he saw a vaguely olimar like creature turning people into leaflings, so he just started doing it too.<br>Im not sure if that makes things better or worse because it kind of implies that on top of being an antisocial jerk, he&apos;s also kind of an idiot. I find it to be somewhat endearing, but milage may vary I suppose.

  At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srBxRml4b68&amp;t=343">5:43</a>, he goes on about how the dark secret cutscene is unlocked after getting every treasure. This is not true. It is unlocked after beating the game&apos;s challenge mode without losing pikmin. Which means obtaining a purple flower rank on every challenge mode level.

  Do you know what makes it worse for Louie? If the Koppaites would have not found their food at all and went back home to Koppai to explain that all of their food was stolen by a Hocotatian this would start a planet war between two species

  There is at least 1 peice of evidence that he has at the very least atempted to eat a pikmin: in the pikmin 4 piklopedia entry for rock pikmin he says that he chipped a tooth on one of them

  I don’t think Louie knows how to breathe. Yet he can mind control bugs and creatures. That man is an enigma.
