New cars disconnect all accessories during the startup. There's no need to shut everything off before starting your car.

I have a 25 year old Toyota Sienna with 297,000 miles on it in Florida, AC hasn't been turned off in years. Only engine components ever replaced were alternator at 250,000 miles +/-, an exhaust sensor and timing belts. 90% of this is rubbish in my assessment

Most modern vehicles shut off all accessories as the vehicle starts. <br>Mine briefly disables AC, the sound system etc during startup.<br><br>Proper operating temperature is NOT the H mark as indicated in this video. It’s in the middle.<br><br>In a manual transmission vehicle you can start it in gear with the clutch pedal fully depressed.

From my understanding, newer cars do not start with the A/C on. The computer waits until the car is started before engaging the compressor.
