  Even if you ARE a couple staying in a hotel, I refuse to believe the majority of couples want to watch each other poop.

  Well I KNOW that nobody is so evil as to remove the bathroom doors in a blatant attempt to get people to rent a separate room for each "guest." Right? Am I right? Nobody is THAT conniving and self-serving. Who would think that? I mean, what am I, a CONSPIRACY THEORIST??

  The only other place I've heard of where there's no bathroom door is prisons.

  I was traveling alone for work, so didn't reaily care that the bathroom was a glassbox with no privacy. Until the window washers showed up while I was in the shower

  I'm an audio engineer who tours with rock bands. I feel like this is designed to impact my demo. If you've got a band on tour with, say, a touring party of six people, you're going to end up sharing two (three if you're lucky) rooms with your bandmates or tour mates. This trend seems designed to convince us to get each person their own room, increase our costs, and reduce their vacancies. This would apply to a whole range of business travelers who are traveling with a co-worker with whom they're not exactly intimate. They just want to sell more rooms.

  I've been complaining about this and similar inhumane design choices. My friends are tired of me calling it "soulless, godless, inhumane architecture"
