When I replaced the chassis on my 1964 Land Rover, I took the old, rusted chassis to the recycle yard. Throwing it on the heap of metal soon to be melted down, I couldn't help to think of the men and women that went into it being made, from the miners, welders, painters, and the driver who depended on it for so long. A bit silly for sure, but, I get it. Maybe you can make some more of those fobs, and sell them. Own an actual piece of your Lotus.
