  It&apos;s even worse when their knock off sucks, because people think it&apos;s yours, and that YOUR product sucks.

  You&apos;re not gonna believe this but this video inspired/ scared me enough to finish the whole process of filing my trademark and applying for brand registry with amazon. Balls in their court but I&apos;m glad it&apos;s done. Thanks for making the video.

  It looks like the response to one predatory system is another predatory system. I worked with start-ups and sporting goods manufactures for decades and in 2000 was asked to come to a huge trade show. One large booth was sponsored by the police and featured counterfeit sporting goods. As someone with expertise I looked over the booth and spoke to one law enforcement person. I told him the counterfeit goods looked to me to be made in the same factories as the real goods. The logos were modified but otherwise they were the same. We are paying for a national police force to chase after mistakes the companies made to make more money. It was wrong then and wrong now. Those factories in China were made by international companies chasing after cheap labor. The largest brands in the world made the monster.

  Having to still negotiate with these Chinese companies ripping off your IP on an American marketplace is a slap in the face.

  moral of the story is would you rather be screwed by big retailers that not only don&apos;t protect your IP, but seem to almost encourage ripping off our inventions, or would you rather get screwed by attorneys?
